History of the Ladder
Given Staffordshire’s proud history as ‘the creative county’, it is fitting that the region’s Ladder has led the way in promoting the apprenticeship brand since its 2015 launch.
Publishers Midland News Association and Reach joined training provider Performance Through People, the Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and Staffordshire County Council to deliver the campaign.
The Ladder has broadened the horizons of hundreds of young people while gaining national support from leading figures including supporter and Minister of State (Education) Robert Halfon MP.
Building success for the future
Regional leadership
The Ladder’s unique position as a regional champion for apprenticeships in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent has brought together support across the private and public sectors.
Ladder Foundation
The Ladder Foundation brings together the Ladders supporting employers and apprentices throughout the Staffordshire, Black Country, Shropshire, Coventry & Warwickshire and Greater Birmingham areas.
Shared vision
Drawing upon collective strengths, the Ladder Foundation ensures each Ladder can take full advantage of the skill-developing opportunities and other benefits that come with taking on an apprentice.
