Apprenticeship Awards

The annual Apprenticeship Awards celebrate the very best of the region’s learners, training providers, educators and employers.

The awards are run by BirminghamLive in partnership with the Ladder for Greater Birmingham. They celebrate achievement across a range of categories.

In 2021, an ambassador for apprenticeships who has been instrumental in both local and global projects for his employer was named 2021 Apprentice of the Year. Ahmad Ford, from HydraForce Hydraulics in Birmingham, won the engineering and manufacturing category before being crowned overall Apprentice of the Year.
